He pouted and poked his cheekbone. “No way, this face is all mine. Face-thief may be older than me, but it’s my face.”
“Technically if he had that face first..” She teased. “He’s not the only one out there, you know. There are others like him.”
“Yeah, but I’m never gonna look in the mirror and think I’m looking at him first, am I?” he laughed. “Other what? Crazies or face-thieves?”
“This is true.” She laughed along with him. “They’re not crazies, Don, or face-thieves. And yes, there are other Time Lords and Ladies out there.”
“They say they’re from another planet, Ivanaa, and that’s just not possible.”
“Oh it’s plenty possible. You just need to keep and open mind and never doubt anything.” She shrugged simply. “I may even travel with one someday.” She coyly smiled over her tea.
“I have an open mind, trust me, just… How could they get here? It would take hundreds of years.” He raised his eyebrows, lips quirking into a half-smile. “Running off with aliens? You’re a strange one, Ivanaa Cartel.”
